Q: Why is JCK moving to Mandalay Bay?
A: The move allows for the reinvention of JCK Las Vegas as a buyer-focused event. We can address the needs of buyers who want an easier-to-navigate show; we can create a more powerful environment for doing business; and we can make the entire experience more pleasant for buyers. The state-of-the-art facility, first class hotels and restaurants and Mandalay Bay’s commitment to customer service will provide JCK Las Vegas, LUXURY by JCK and Swiss Watch by JCK an improved environment in which to conduct our business.
Q: What will the 2011 dates be?
A: Based on buyer research of several options from May through June, buyers told us, the best set of dates are the current pattern beginning the week after Memorial Day.
For 2011 the dates will be:
Luxury by JCK: May 31 - June 2, 2011
JCK Las Vegas: June 3 - June 6, 2011
Swiss Watch by JCK: June 2 - June 6, 2011
Q: Will the Navigation/Organization of the Show be improved?
A: By moving to Mandalay Bay we are able to start fresh with a new floorplan layout. The JCK 2011 floorplan is being designed in an effort to better meet the needs of the overall show, and will reflect improved product/vendor organization and will strive to deliver enhanced show floor navigation.
Q: What is the hotel situation like at that end of the strip?
A: Mandalay Bay’s property is diverse, yet intimate. There is a range of properties offering a variety of price points- from the renowned luxury of the Four Seasons Hotel, to the all-suites design of THEhotel and the newly renovated luxury of Mandalay Bay itself. There are also more moderately-priced hotel options next door to Mandalay Bay, linked by tram and an enclosed walkway. In addition the City Center complex is expected to open in December of 2009 and will offer additional Luxury hotel rooms, meeting space, restaurants and shopping.
Q: What restaurant options are there at Mandalay Bay?
A: Featuring the most recognizable names and incredible venues throughout the culinary world, Mandalay Bay offers some of the best restaurants in all of Las Vegas. From steak and seafood to eclectic menu creations, there is something for every taste.

Q: What is the after-hour atmosphere like at Mandalay Bay?
A: For expansive networking opportunities, Mandalay Bay offers the hottest nightclubs, the coolest music venues and the best lounges on the Strip. Lounges include Eyecandy Sound Lounge, Mix, Fleur de Lys, Rumjungle, The Lounge at THEhotel, Bambu Bar, Mizuya, Orchid and House of Blues.
Q: Are there things to do for my family should I decide to bring them?
A: Mandalay Bay offers a variety of options to entertain the entire family. Located on 11 acres, Mandalay Bay Beach provides the ultimate in aquatic relaxation. This world-famous playground offers a wave pool, lazy river, three swimming pools, jogging track and 2,700 tons of real sand.
The May through September Beach Concert Series spotlights some of the best names in music as guests are serenaded from a one-of-a-kind stage above Mandalay Bay Beach. Concert-goers are invited to bring their blankets and sit on the beach or wade in the surf as they listen to popular performers. Featured artists have included Chicago, Joss Stone, Ziggy Marley, Foreigner, and Pat Benatar.
If you’re looking for the ultimate in relaxation, check out The Bathhouse Spa. This elegant spa focuses on healing, cleansing and rejuvenation in their steam rooms and saunas and massage/facial/wrap treatment rooms.
If shopping is in the plan, you won’t want to miss the Mandalay Place Shopping mall or The Shops at Mandalay Bay. And for overall family fun, there is the deep blue world of Shark Reef Aquarium. Here you will come face to face with some of the earth’s most fascinating creatures in North America’s only predator based aquarium and exhibit. See sharks of all kinds, along with sawfish, giant rays, endangered green sea turtles, piranha, moon jellies, and rare golden crocodiles. In all, there are over 2,000 animals in 1.6 million gallons of seawater.
